Graphic and clip les are everywhere. Yet tradional switchers sll focus on just video
inputs. A convenonal control room with a tradional 2 M/E (Mix/eect system)
switcher, can add a video server and a graphics system to create powerful live video,
but is expensive to assemble and sta. Now there is a much easier way.
Granite eciently uses both video and les, thanks to its integrated content server and
Fluent le-based workow soware. It provides the freedom and exibility to create
rich compelling content, and simple enough for a solo operator or small team.
Granite 2M/E Switcher
Granite’s control panel provides instant access to all video and all les, plus powerful
combinaons. File names appear on the buons, and on the mul-view along with
thumbnails. Granite runs nave HD, and takes 11 SDI video inputs (22 oponal) plus
7 channels of le inputs. Video can be in any combinaon of 1080i, 720p and SD,
both genlocked and asynchronous. There are 6 keyers, and 4 DVEs. Outputs include
6 HD/SD SDI (12 oponal) and 2 DVI. Low delay makes it exceponal for live events.
Two M/Es are great for preparing the next powerful composion, or for producing
simultaneously for two screens or for the Web.
Granite Content Server
Granite‘s content server completes the video producon system. It runs Broadcast
Pix Fluent workow soware, the best le-based workow soware. It provides an
HD clip store of up to 120 hours, 2 HD animaon players, 4 channel HD graphic system
with Harris Inscriber CG, powerful macros for le-based eects, and watch-folders
that streamline le import from your favorite eding and graphics systems. The Fluent
Mul-View is the most complete heads up display integrang video, les, keys, and
metadata. Control can be extended to roboc cameras, audio mixers, servers and
streamers.
